At Red Macaw, we believe every cup of coffee should be as extraordinary as the people and places behind it. Our journey began with a personal connection to one of Colombia’s most renowned farms, where our family has cultivated coffee for generations. From this heritage we launched our flagship lot: the rare Mandela variety, grown in the highlands of Valle del Cauca, Colombia.
Mandela is a one-of-a-kind hybrid that produces a remarkable cup: vibrant cherry and tropical fruit notes, a citrus-like brightness, and a creamy body that lingers long after the last sip. It represents both tradition and innovation—qualities that guide every coffee we bring to you.
While our story starts in Colombia, our vision extends further. We partner with distinguished producers across Latin America and beyond, sourcing only from farms that share our values of quality, sustainability, and integrity.
The name Red Macaw embodies strength and presence, inspired by the scarlet macaw—an enduring symbol of Latin America’s richness and diversity. Through every release, we aim to deliver coffees that stand out not only for their flavor but for the story they carry.
